💨 An 81-yard house call for UAB
No. 22 Memphis is looking for an upset in the Battle for the Bones, trailing rival UAB 24-14 in the second half thanks to Solomon Beebe’s 81-yard touchdown run.
This is UAB’s first game since firing head coach Trent Dilfer, and its interim coach is Alex Mortensen, son of the late Chris Mortensen.
For Memphis, if this score holds, it will be their first loss of the season, and could knock the Tigers out of the top 25 rankings.

🫨 Toledo’s blocked punt turns into a touchdown
Toledo had a great day against Kent State, winning 45-10, but the special teams unit proved to be one of their biggest draws in the third quarter.
Like a single force, Rockets safety Eric Williams blocked a punt attempt by Golden Flashes punter Charlie Durkin, ran after him, and fell on top of the ball in the end zone for a touchdown.

🤯 Get up, Cornell Tate!
Ohio State’s No. 1 wide receiver, Cornell Tate, has been one of the best players at his position this year, and he proved it against Wisconsin.
The junior made a memorable touchdown catch in the first quarter, catching a 33-yard pass from quarterback Julian Sein. However, that wasn’t all. He made the catch over two defenders while his helmet was being ripped off.
Watch below:
🔥 Old Dominion 98-Yard Touchdown Catch
Monarchs quarterback Colton Joseph and wideout Trey Brown made history for Old Dominion, playing the program’s longest offensive play ever.
Standing on their own two-yard line, Joseph dove to Brown, who was cutting through the middle. Brown didn’t look back, outjumping James Madison safety Tyler Brown for a 98-yard touchdown.
The match has featured several big plays so far, including three touchdowns of over 55 yards in the first quarter alone.

🥴 Old Dominion’s spectacular opening kickoff, scoop-and-score
James Madison had a memorable opening kickoff against Old Dominion, and not in a good way.
While trying to field the kick, the two return men collided with each other, causing the ball to bounce off them and out of the end zone. One of the return men scooped the ball, but seconds later, a Monarchs player punched it out and picked it up, leading to a scoop-and-score opening touchdown.
